Media data · The Monthly Edition

Five hours of golf. Nineteen hours of everything else.

Granted, a page full of metrics is rarely where the feeling lives. But these figures do not come from a brochure assembled once a year – they come straight out of the sending system and keep writing themselves. And they say something: our readers actually read the issue. They do not skim it.

We started as a magazine in 2019. Today we are the independent channel with the widest reach in the Swiss golf and lifestyle audience.

A spread from one issue: a golf course with a lone olive tree against a sunset over the coast, loungers under parasols by the pool, a bright suite opening onto a terrace, and a plated salad scattered with edible flowers. From one of our issues

Golf is the common ground, not the boundary. A round takes five hours – which leaves nineteen, and in those our readers eat, sleep, marvel and travel on. Those nineteen hours are our subject.

An issue is not finished on the day it goes out. Every article stays in the magazine and keeps being found – months later, by people who are planning a trip right now.

These figures are media data too – just like the newsletter’s. Only nothing on the website itself is for sale: no banner space, no advert dressed up as an article. What stands here is the same editorial material as the newsletter – a hundred percent experienced by us, never assembled from a press kit. Golf is the occasion, not the subject: safari and wilderness, food and wine, wellness and longevity, hotels and design – the nineteen hours beside the round, told at the same level as the round itself. What counts: an article stays put and keeps being found, long after send day.

What we write about

The course is the occasion, not the subject. Most of what our readers read about a destination has nothing to do with golf – and they book the trip anyway.

Two people lie flat at the edge of a waterhole watching a hippo. Beside them a ranger sits on a camp chair marked Royal Malewane, with a mountain range behind.

Safari & wilderness

Just past five in the morning, dust and acacia in the air, the ranger cuts the engine. South Africa, Kenya, Namibia – lodges, reserves, Rovos Rail. Not a club in sight, and still one of our best-read strands.

Cruising & water

River sailings on the Rhine and the Douro, marinas, island hopping. Three days, three winemakers, one ship – the arithmetic works on our readers more often than you would think.

Food & wine

Starred kitchens and country taverns, wine lists and harvest season. We sit at the table before we write about it – and we say so when a course does not land.

Culture & cities

Lisbon on foot, Sanremo after dark, the Marling waalweg before noon. We go where a region keeps its past and talk to the people still carrying it forward – then give away the detours no guidebook lists.

Wellness & longevity

After the round, or instead of it. Schroth cures, thermal baths, longevity programmes – we look closer where others write “spa” and leave it there.

Hotels & design

From the small townhouse to the resort with its own course. What interests us is how a place receives you, not how many stars are screwed to the door.

Per issue, that is roughly 1,302 more people opening the newsletter than the market average would deliver.

The open rate is calculated across every issue and measured exactly the way the market figure beside it is – same platform, same counting. Worth saying up front, because open rates are usually compared without anyone asking what sits in the denominator.

Replies from our inbox, quoted as they arrived – trimmed only of greeting and sign-off. Each carries a name, a role and a house, because an anonymous testimonial is worth nothing.

Who has featured so far

Newsletter

Hotels and destinations from past issues – ordered by where our readers actually clicked. Not by who we liked best.

Three chefs in white jackets clasp hands across the railing on the sun deck of a river ship, the concrete walls of a lock rising behind them.

What you get from us

  • We come to you. Photography and video are shot on site, by us, never pulled from a stock library.
  • We write the piece. Editorial, in our own hand – not an advert dressed up as an article.
  • We distribute it. Newsletter, magazine, social media and, where it fits, a landing page of its own.
  • We stay reachable. Two people, no agency chain in between.

What working together looks like

Four routes, and they combine. What fits depends on the goal – and on how much time we are allowed to spend on site.

Exclusive issue

A whole issue for one house or one destination. No neighbours, no competing context, the readership’s full attention.

Themed issue

Several partners under one bracket – a region, a season, an occasion. You share the issue and gain from the theme.

Landing page

A page of your own in the magazine that stays: a country, a region, a house. We promote it across our channels, and it keeps being found.

Direct mail

Printed, to Swiss golf households, with a reply card if you want one. We handle the whole route – we never sell addresses, we post on your behalf.

From first conversation to published issue

  1. Conversation

What do you want to achieve, who do you want to reach, and when. Twenty minutes usually settles it.

  2. Visit

We come to you and stay long enough to experience something. Photography and video happen while we are there, shot by us.

  3. Words

Written editorially, in our own hand. You read it before it goes out and may object wherever something is wrong.

  4. Send

The issue reaches the subscribers, the article stays in the magazine, and social media carries it further.

  5. Numbers

After the send you receive the figures for your issue – delivery, opens, clicks on your links. The same measurement that feeds this page.

What we do not do

  • No bought addresses. The list grew over years, and it is tended.
  • No advert dressed up as an article. Paid work reads editorially – and it also says what we actually saw.
  • We never resell addresses. Not once.
  • No figure we cannot measure. What stands on this page comes from the system, not from an estimate.

Let us talk it through

An issue devoted to a single house, or a themed issue with several partners – what fits depends on the goal. A conversation settles it fastest.
